Head Coach

Qualifications: Trampoline Club Coach (Level 3)

Experience to date: Since starting trampoline lessons at school at the age of 11 i have been involved as a participant and a coach ever since.

1999 I gained Women's Artistic Assistant Coach qualification and began coaching at City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy coaching pre-elite, recreational and school gymnastics and trampoline classes

2001 I gained Women's Artistic Club Coach qualification

2001 Started University course and began coaching at various centres around Leeds including Carnegie Gymnastics Centre and Kirkstall Leisure Centre

2004 Graduated from Leeds Matropolitan University with a 2:1 and began working at Rossett Sports Centre.

In 2004 I set up my own gymnastics club at Rossett Sports Centre, which I still run as Head Coach. During my time at Rossett I also organised, managed and led very successful playschemes that were judged as good in a recent OfSTED.

In September 2006 I left my position at Rossett Sports Centre to become a full-time gymnastics and Trampoline coach, taking further qualifications in both trampoline and womens artistic gymnastics. I retain my position as Head Coach of the Rossett gymnastics club, am a consultant coach for Harrogate's diving squad, run pre-school and pre-begginer gymnastics classes at various centres around Harrogate, and lead curriculum and after school gymnastics classes in for schools in Bradford, Leeds and Harrogate.

Sept 2007 I have now set up harrogate trampoline club to allow more people access to the sport in the harrogate area.
